Welcome to Artist In Africa

Join me as I research new paintings  in such spectacular African wildlife destinations as Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve, Rwanda’s Parc National des Volcans, and Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park– then follow me back to my studio in the USA where, step by step, I’ll bring the paintings to life. Thanks for visiting my website!  — Charles Alexander

  3. Hey, Charlie –
I spent some time this evening scrolling through this site. I hear your words when we speak, but to see your trips translated into the beautiful photographs, then to drawings, then to canvas – which I don’t know is canvas until you identify it as such… I’m without words. I can’t wait to follow you through the next trip. Was so good to have time with you this past week. I’ve thought of you often – in the heat in your emaculate clothing, learning the bison! Please stay in touch, and take care. Suzanne
